What each step does
1. Describe the idea 0:04
You write the idea in a sentence or two of plain language. The demo uses an AI calendar for distributed design teams.
2. Demand check and verdict 0:06
Scoutr looks for people describing the problem on Reddit and Hacker News, and maps the competitors already selling a solution. The report ends in one of three verdicts (BUILD IT, VALIDATE MORE or KILL IT) with a solution-problem fit score. The demo idea scored 74% on 28 Reddit threads and 4 competitors.
3. MVP modeling 0:12
An agent proposes a feature plan for the first version, which you accept or edit. Features are ordered by dependency on a roadmap, and the agent flags the ones that go past what a first release needs.
4. PRD handoff 0:19
The last step writes a product requirements document structured for spec-driven development, ready to paste into Claude Code or Codex. If you only need the document, the free PRD generator writes one on its own.
